I am trying to make my own iOS applications by using Xcode 7 and iOS 9.0. I have successfully been able to install the app on my own iPod by following Xcode 7 develop for iOS without developer account however when I run the application I get this error:
I had a quick look in the Aettings app but cannot find a way to allow this application that I made. How would I 'trust' this application running iOS 9?

Enterprise and other certificates have to be manually trusted on iOS 9 when they didn't have to on iOS 8 and earlier.
- Open the Settings app
- Open General
- Open Profiles & Device Management
- Choose the affected profile and trust it
If you don't see 'Profiles & Device Management' then your device needs to reinstall the app or get the appropriate profile from MDM / other enrollment.

You can also do the following:
- In your iPhone or device, go to Settings
- Go to General
- Select Profile
- Select your user account i.e., developer account
- Click on Trust.
Fallout 4 no sound after intro download. This should enable you to test your app on your device.

For newer versions of iOS >9. Settings->General->Profiles doesn't exist. You will find the settings you need to change in Settings->General->Device Management.

Alternative way to fix this error:
- Open Xcode app on your Mac
- Navigate to Window > Devices
- Right click on your device > 'Show Provisioning Profiles..' > and delete the profiles
- Delete the installed app on your device
- Now rebuild and install the app again
Note: In my case only 'Settings > 'General' > 'Profiles' was shown instead of 'Profiles & Device Management', and these steps solved the issue.

Yup, this isn't an extreme issue. No need to contact the dev. You can go to the Settings app and it will be resolved in there. See if this here can help.

- Select your device and delete the profiles.
- Delete the installed app on your device.

-->Intune enables mobile device management (MDM) of iPads and iPhones to give users access to company email and apps.
As an Intune admin, you can enable enrollment for iOS devices. You can let users enroll personally owned devices, known as 'bring your own device' (BYOD) enrollment. You can also enable enrollment of company-owned devices.
Prerequisites for iOS enrollment
Before you can enable iOS devices, complete the following steps:
- Set up Intune - These steps set up your Intune infrastructure. In particular, device enrollment requires that you set your MDM authority.
- Get an Apple MDM Push certificate - Apple requires a certificate to enable management of iOS and macOS devices.
User-owned iOS devices (BYOD)
Remove Mobile Device Management Ip…
You can let users enroll their personal devices for Intune management, know as 'bring your own device' or BYOD. Once you've completed the prerequisites and assigned users licenses, they can download the Intune Company Portal app from the App Store, and follow enrollment instructions in the app.
Company-owned iOS devices
For organizations that buy devices for their users, Intune supports the following iOS company-owned device enrollment methods:
- Apple's Device Enrollment Program (DEP)
- Apple School Manager
- Apple Configurator Setup Assistant enrollment
- Apple Configurator direct enrollment
You can also enroll company-owned iOS devices with a device enrollment manager account.
Device Enrollment Program
Organizations can purchase iOS devices through Apple's Device Enrollment Program (DEP). DEP lets you deploy an enrollment profile “over the air” to bring devices into management. Learn more about Device Enrollment Program.
Apple School Manager
Apple School Manager is a device purchase and enrollment program for schools. Like DEP, you can deploy a profile to enroll devices in management. Learn more about Apple School Manager.
Apple Configurator
You can enroll iOS devices with Apple Configurator running on a Mac computer. To prepare devices, you USB-connect them and install an enrollment profile. You can enroll devices with Apple Configurator in two ways:
- Setup Assistant enrollment - Wipes the device, prepares it to run Setup Assistant, and installs the company's policies for the device’s new user.
- Direct enrollment - Doesn't wipe the device and enrolls the device with a predefined policy. This method is for devices with no user affinity.
Learn more about Apple Configurator enrollment.
Use the Company Portal on DEP-enrolled or Apple Configurator-enrolled devices
Devices configured with user affinity can install and run the Company Portal app to download apps and manage devices. After users receive their devices, they must complete a number of additional steps to complete the Setup Assistant and install the Company Portal app.
User affinity is required to support the following:
- Mobile application management (MAM) apps
- Conditional Access to email and company data
- Company Portal app
How users enroll corporate-owned iOS devices with user affinity
- When users turn on their device, they are prompted to complete the Setup Assistant.
- After completing setup, users are prompted for an Apple ID. They must provide an Apple ID to allow the device to install Company Portal.
- The iOS device automatically installs the Company Portal app from the App Store.
- Users should launch the Company Portal app and sign in using the credentials (like the unique personal name or UPN) that are associated with their subscription in Intune.
- After logging in, enrollment is complete. Users can now use this device with the full set of capabilities.
About corporate-owned managed devices with no user affinity
Devices that are configured with no user affinity do not support the Company Portal and should not have the app installed. The Company Portal is designed for users who have corporate credentials and require access to personalized corporate resources (like email). Devices that are enrolled with no user affinity aren't intended to have a dedicated user sign in. Kiosk, point of sale (POS), or shared-utility devices are typical use cases for devices that are enrolled with no user affinity.
If user affinity is required, be sure that the device’s enrollment profile has User Affinity selected before enrolling the device. To change the affinity status on a device, you must retire the device and reenroll it.

Hello all, Calling sebastian ingrosso 320.
a few days ago I noticed there was less device in the mobile device management dashboard than what we have enrolled. Upon investigation I noticed that only the latest device were showing in the list starting from around the 12th of November. Any other device being enrolled are just not showing in the dashboard, they are not blocked, haven't been removed and there is no impact on the device as it does report steadily and compliant with the policy.
When I look at a user's device in the Exchange management panel I can see all the device enrolled no problem they just don't show up in the Office 365 Mobile Management if enrolled before the approximative date of 12th of November.
Now, I've opened a ticket with Microsoft but they are just throwing useless article about enrollment and APN certificate but they don't actually look at the back end or servers they are responsible for..
I know how to enroll devices it is not an issue related to iOS, Android or Windows Phones.
One interesting example is one user which I enrolled the iPhone in October and the iPad in late November.. they both show up in the Exchange device list and they are working fine but only the iPad can be seen in the Office 365 mobile management dashboard.
Any body else getting this 'unique' issue as Microsoft 'engineer' calls it?
One last note, I have a similar setup with another client and I don't get this issue as all device are currently showing properly in the dashboard.

You must manually turn on trust for SSL when you install a profile that is sent to you via email or downloaded from a website.
If you want to turn on SSL trust for that certificate, go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings. Under 'Enable full trust for root certificates,' turn on trust for the certificate.
Apple recommends deploying certificates via Apple Configurator or Mobile Device Management (MDM). Certificate payloads are automatically trusted for SSL when installed with Configurator, MDM, or as part of an MDM enrollment profile.
